EU Rad Power(less) BikesHad a couple of small issues with my bike which I managed to sort while waiting for their support team to get back to me, I must say the quality of their bikes is very good. ( % 22.00) My only criticism however is the lack of power of the EU restricted W versions. ( % 0.00) I would wait until the UK has a trade deal with the US then you could maybe get the US W bikes. ( % 0.00) Or go for the Sondors more powerful EU bikes. ( % 40.00) Just found out they have reduced the power of the latest EU version of the Radwagon Cargo bike to W, won't be getting much cargo on there then. ( % 35.00) RadPower why not make the bikes dual voltage so that these can be changed if required. ( % 80.00) The bike is great but what is as important to me (or maybe even more important) is that their support is absolutely superp. ( % 46.00) and i can't praise them enough. ( % 0.00) If you call or write them they will help you and if something is wrong they will help you sort it out. ( % -50.00) Very friendly, fair and professional people. Radrunner plus. ( % 0.00) Waited months but love itThis is both a good and bad review. ( % 16.67) I think I can beat most people here in that I actually waited months for my bike to arrive . ( % 25.00) It was during winter, which helped! ( % 0.00) My radrunner plus finally arrived a couple of weeks ago after ordering in November. ( % 0.00) I had no means of tracking or any idea when it would arrive, meaning constant chasing and expensive phonecalls. ( % -25.00) I was pretty chilled as I realised Brexit had messed them up and they had a lot to deal with so I was patient and polite but did get a little miffed near the end. ( % 5.42) Agree with previous comments about accessories coming in and out of stock which has meant I'm still waiting for what I need to make it work for me. ( % -16.67) I bought the bike to get my kid to school and I can't fault it now it's here, it's absolutely brilliant and we love going to and from school on it. ( % 70.00) It gets up the hills easy and I live in a very very hilly area. ( % 27.66) The throttle is boss! ( % 0.00) Much better performance than my previous orbea ebike. ( % 16.67) It's a LOT of fun to ride and is now my main vehicle I even sold my car . ( % 23.33) I suspect that after Brexit, they had given our UK bikes to others despite being pre-ordered and we had to wait for another round of availability. A long waitI ordered on the th March thinking it would take up to weeks as per the website at the time. ( % -5.00) Got an update on the th April to say it's shipped but they didn't give a tracking number. ( % 0.00) No update since and no bike as of th May. ( % 0.00) I can see other people are having a similar problem. ( % -6.25) I called them and did manage to get through to a helpful lady who said they are awaiting delivery with UPS and basically hold tight until UPS decides to deliver it! ( % -22.32) All a bit weird. ( % -50.00) UPDATE: I got the bike a few days after posting this. ( % -20.00) Once UPS shipped the parcel from Bristol (where I live!) ( % 17.05) I got tons of updates and notifications until it arrived the next day. ( % 0.00) They have been fast to reply to emails all of a sudden now. Ordered my Rad bike weeks ago said it...Ordered my Rad bike weeks ago said it was in stock so thought ok should be fine up to - weeks delivery! ( % 51.04) ( stated on web site ) After weeks thought I would drop them a line to see how my order was going when I had sent the email it says allow time for a reply. ( % 0.00) Ok and then within hours I got an email saying it was being picked and loaded for despatch ! ( % 62.50) Strange as I had just sent that email. ( % -5.00) Another email then followed saying they were sorry for the delay but the rad was on its way and would be arriving in the next week. ( % -25.00) After another week , week I sent another email again after days I got a reply saying it was definitely in the uk at their distribution area in a container awaiting unpacking and despatch via UPS as that is who they use now tracking will follow ! ( % 0.00) Another week now just at week no bike and no further communication from them. ( % 0.00) So now what do I do? ( % 0.00) First bike last September after ordering arrived in days via DPD and they are now blaming Brexit for this? ( % 12.50) But I can't see it myself as I have just had a replacement toaster from the Neatherlands sent from Kitchen Aid took days came DPD. ( % 0.00) My guess after seeing all the reviews is they do not have any stock and are awaiting stock to despatch out but why not be honest about it if they don't have the bikes I wouldn't have orderd again and gone somewhere else. Further To My Original ReviewRecently purchased a RAD Rhino the bike lives up to the great reviews I have read about RAD E bikes but sadly I'm finding out that the customer service does not live up to the hype . ( % 12.14) I received an e Mail from RAD EU on the th March to say an item I've been waiting for since December had due to stock replenishment now become available. ( % 13.75) Great I thought paid and placed my order immediately same day but here we are weeks later and the item is still sat in the distribution centre in the Netherlands. ( % 26.67) On contacting RAD several times it comes to light that they are not despatching single items to customers , the item gets picked and placed on a vehicle destined for the U.K. but this does not leave until vehicle is full. ( % 16.96) Several more e mails to RAD first they tell me the vehicle fills very quickly and it is likely to leave by the end of the week , at the end of the week still no communication stating despatched so I contact them again . ( % 23.67) Now they are saying despatch is delayed and the item has still not left them but still know indication when it will leave . ( % 0.00) This is really concerning I'm reading on Facebook I'm not alone there are loads of people awaiting delivery's from RAD they are all complaining about both poor delivery times and lack of communication by the company . ( % -10.00) Buying online may be cheaper but I am at this point wishing I had bought local a lesson learnt . ( % 0.00) In light of RAD customer service review my response . ( % 40.00) I stand by all of my comments about the product its Star but that has nothing to do with the EU it's an American designed product built the in Far East . ( % 5.00) However RAD have a serious problem ongoing because of Brexit they cannot deliver in a timely manner to the U.K inevitably U.K. customers like myself will look elsewhere in the future . ( % -11.11) Reading on the U.K. RAD Facebook forum lots of customers are like myself complaining about the service not only on the delivery of a new bike but getting hold of spares , several people stated their bike has become unusable due to the fact they are waiting on spares . ( % 0.28) Everything that is delayed is blamed on Brexit stating loads of extra paperwork . ( % 0.00) We left the EU December get over it . The Radrunner Plus is an absolutely...The Radrunner Plus is an absolutely incredible bike. ( % 90.00) Beautifully designed and amazingly fun to ride, it even manages the steep hills around my house much better than I expected it too. ( % 38.75) Very fast delivery to Ireland, only took days. ( % 13.00) Unfortunately for our British friends, they will have a much longer wait because of Brexit but trust me when I say the wait is completely worth it!! I would love to give Rad Power more...I would love to give Rad Power more than stars and rave about how excellent their bikes are... if I had mine!! ( % -5.00) I've had friends have bikes from other companies delivered from Europe - UK right now in a couple of weeks. I've bought a bike from them and bought...I've bought a bike from them and bought some rare parts through email. ( % 30.00) The customer service was always good and the bikes are a great value for money. ( % 75.00) You need to assemble them a little bit and adjust a few things but if you have been commuting with a bicycle for a while it will all be doable. ( % -19.38) It will be easier to assemble the bike if you have an electric screwdriver with known torque settings, and some universal/pedal lubricant. ( % 0.00) Shipping took a while before Brexit, but since brexit the delivery times are very long because they have built up a backlog of orders to the UK. ( % -6.50) Just be prepared to wait for a while (+ weeks) and all will be well. ( % 0.00) The bikes are very good and very economical, it's worth the wait. ( % 53.33) My partner and I are going to buy a second e-bike and Rad Power bikes are the only ones we are considering seriously. ( % -11.11) Some other considerations: parts are frequently out of stock, buy inner tubes in advance to avoid waiting weeks to order and then weeks for delivery; the bikes are very heavy (kg!) ( % -8.75) except for Rad Mission, so get that if you intend to keep it above the ground floor. ( % 0.00) The Rad Runner is a very good utility bike but it seriously takes two people to lug it up and down the stairs, and it does not like elevators. ( % 14.04) So why stars with all these shortcomings? ( % 0.00) I think the ultimate experience of buying a bike from Rad Power can be very good if you keep your expectations in check. ( % 45.50) It's not Amazon Prime, it will take a while to ship. ( % 0.00) Electric bikes and PLEVs are the future of transport and they can go where cars can't, so in the big cities they give you a lot of freedom. ( % 0.00) You're also not afraid to leave it locked outside because you can take the battery with you (half the value of the bike), and if the bike gets stolen, it's not one of the unnecessarily expensive ones. Great serviceI have had a radrunner since may and it has brought me a lot of happiness throughout the never ending lockdown. ( % 75.00) The throttle stopped working two weeks ago, I contacted Radpower bikes EU and they responded immediately. ( % 0.00) I sent a short video and a new part was sent to me without any hassle as I am still under warranty. A year after buying a Rad Power BikeI've had my Rad Rhino for about a year now, and I have no complaints about the bike. ( % 0.00) It's very heavy but that is reflected in the price, and it's also quite a heavy-duty machine that can take a bit of a beating. ( % -26.00) The bike would really benefit from a mid-motor design rather than a rear hub motor, so hopefully future versions of Rad bikes will come with that instead. ( % 10.00) My only real annoyance with Rad Power Bikes is that they don't seem to have anything like the manufacturing capacity required to keep up with demand - particularly for their spare parts and accessories. ( % 12.22) Because of this, it can very often take months for items to come back into stock and then when they do, they sell out almost instantly. ( % 6.67) On top of this, the price of said parts and accessories is quite extortionate, which makes the fact you have to wait so long for the products taste all the more bitter. ( % 21.25) My experience with their customer service is that they are sometimes quite slow to respond, but the service is personalised and of a high standard when you do eventually manage to get in touch with a human. ( % -3.50) I think a lot of my issues with Rad stem from staffing/manufacturing issues caused by CoViD, so I'm willing to give them stars instead of the that they would normally get from me. Where is it? ( % 0.00) !UPDATE: I just received my Rad mini Power bike days ago (Monday th of October) and I must say it was worth the wait. ( % 30.00) The only concern is the constant whistle from the wheels while riding which I'm hoping is due to the fact that it's still a new bike. ( % 0.28) I'm beginning to think maybe I should've gone with a different brand, this is taking far too long and am not sure if it will ever happen now. ( % -5.00) I ordered the RadMini on July - today is the th of October and still no bike. ( % 0.00) I understand "tighter border controls across Europe" was going to affect delivery time, but I can't imagine a situation that would lead to a delay from initially weeks to now ! Very poor service ordered a bike there...Very poor service ordered a bike there web site said in stock delivery would be in / weeks week they then email to say the back orders would be shipped out at then end of September but when the order was placed there web site clearly stated they had the bike in stock the order was placed August so looks like the bike will take weeks seem very unprofessional company all the reviews I watched on youtube said what great customer service I noticed in all there reply's to the reviews that have been left they always say that your views are important to the company but I think it's just a way of getting money from people under false pretence would not recommend this company would be best to use a local bike shop than this companyDate of experience: September , ( % 10.73)

This company is a jokeThis company is a joke, I ordered my Rad Mini on the th of June, now the Aug and still not had delivery, I discovered that the Bike was delivered into the UK on the st of july the customer service department are very polite yet continually make ridiculous excuses, I also ordered two accessories which included an inner tube, on the th of July UPS rang my doorbell dropped a parcel in my porch and dashed back to the van and had dissapeared when I got to my door. ( % -3.33) When I examined the parcel there were two labels on the parcel, when I checked the tracking numbers I found one number was for the Rad Bike, the other was for the inner tube, but of course it was just the inner tube delivered, later they emailed me to say the Rad Mini had been delivered, can you believe this? ( % -3.13) The parcel measurements were mm x mm X mm now you have got to be a clever person to get a Rad Mini into a pacel that size (even folded) so in actual fact so far I have paid . ( % 8.89) euros FOR INNER TUBE. ( % 0.00) It took me ages to get customer services to understand what had happened, the eventually said they would get a new tracking number to me but that was over a week ago and I am still waiting. Convoluted but reliable shipping timesFirst thing I would like to say is that there are issues with shipping, these mainly being that there are some unknowns when the bikes arrive in the UK. ( % 16.67) Mine arrived within weeks of arriving in UK. ( % 0.00) So ordered on nd April (in stock for dispatch in May), dispatched on the th of May, arrived on the th June. ( % 0.00) Rad Europe have detailed the expected timelines for shipment to the UK on their website, presently / weeks (after dispatch!) ( % 10.00) so they are managing expectations. ( % 0.00) There is a backlog and this is to be expected as everyone wants an e-bike, and they are in short supply, most bike shops in Europe are quoting up to PS+ to ship a bike to UK, so I think the PS is fair, even though the route and method of delivery is slightly convoluted. ( % 18.89) Have been able to chat to the people in Ghent and email them, and been in constant touch all the time, they seem kind and helpful. RadRhino PlusBought the RadRhino Plus and I hadn't expected to wait so long for shipment I ordered at the end of August and it shipped at the end of November so three months, I presume between Covid and supply chain issues compounded the problem. ( % -7.50) Anyway I got it and must say am enjoying it a lot, I was not expecting a W motor to work on the hills as much as it does, the torque is excellent and the hydraulic brakes are very good too. ( % 65.25) Very comfortable bike as well. ( % 52.00) The bike is heavy and it is important to not run out of power. ( % 10.00) It happened to me once and was hard to cycle with no power! ( % -36.46) The one item that could be improved is the fact that the battery cannot be switched off while parking, I would like to see a way of immobilising the bike with a key. ( % 50.00) When placing orders for in stock accessories - for example, handle bar grips. ( % 0.00) An item that can fit inside a jiffy bag.. you will wait at least weeks for this to be posted. ( % 5.00) God knows what their warehouse looks like. ( % 0.00) They blamed the first delay on brexit', labor shortage, fuel crisis etc everything under the sun but their own lack of staff/warehouse organisation/management etc. ( % 42.50) On December I ordered handle bar grips and I am still waiting. Firstly, my original order also included a number of accessories, and I received one of these a couple of weeks before the bike arrived. After riding a Stella for about a week...After riding a Stella for about a week next to my wife's Rad Runner (me on level and her on PA or and totally dusting me!) ( % 0.00) I decided to markplaatz that thing for a Rhino Plus step-through (which the sale of the Stella more than covered - damn expensive those things). ( % 0.00) I could not be happier with the Rhino! ( % 0.00) As I am in the NL the delivery was pretty much as expected in the - week timeframe as promised on the website. ( % 7.50) I never got a "your bike is coming today" notice or anything, but honestly the bike showed up, so who cares? ( % 60.00) I know in the fall their warehouse move screwed up some continental orders, but that's the state of logistics right now globally anyway. ( % 14.29) I was just happy to get the bike in a reasonable time and in good order. ( % 56.67) The bike is extremely powerful relative to the Stella and is far more stable on uneven surfaces. ( % 14.00) It is simply just a joy to ride it and I find myself thinking "I'll take the bike" more and more. ( % 45.00) My neighbors who all have a variety of Dutch bikes all really love our bikes. ( % 50.00) If I could offer Rad one bit of product advice: make a Runner and Rhino style bike, but SIGNIFICANTLY lighter (no the Mini doesn't count, and it is still too heavy to move). ( % 8.75) My year old neighbor would have bought one immediately, but he literally cannot lift it onto his bike rack on his car. ( % 10.00) They are VERY heavy so do not expect to do a lot of up-and-down stairs with them (certainly not Dutch stairs!). ( % -19.70) Out in the open though, it handles hills, wind, and slippery surfaces much better than your standard thin-tire fiets, and I feel like the battery life, range, and overall power (even without hacking the motor controller) are under-stated, as I get better life and range, and the power is really noticeable compared to the Stella. ( % 20.00) The only real complaints I have would be minor things that the European market would benefit from (the bikes are designed in the US as their website says, so they do not have some "European" type features) like integrated standard wheel locks, removable displays, and better water-proofing for the electrics (it rains here. ( % 9.29) A lot.). ( % 0.00) All in all though those are minor things, easily handled with a good lock, a plastic bag and some flex-seal tape. ( % 36.11) The ability to hack the computer was appealing to me as well, as I am well aware there is more juice under the hood as it were. ( % 41.67) I have not done it, because the stock power is plenty for me to get around my super flat country. ( % 15.42) Last bit, I feel like It is worth mentioning for others who will come here for reviews and ratings. ( % 15.00) I took the time to dig a little deeper through the reviews here, because I do not just take everything at face value. ( % -18.75) All of the negative ones are about shipping and logistics issues and people not getting things when they want (minus the Rad Wagon shipping damage thing which appears to have affected a particular shipment). ( % -7.78) After my digging through the reviews, I gotta say that based on where the vast majority of those reviews are from: this is the Brexit y'all voted for? ( % 0.00) Seriously though, getting stuff in and out of the UK due to all the trade issues, shortages of workers, and general logistics mess caused by the hard Brexit is a total nightmare, and will only get worse before it smoothes out. ( % -15.94) I am so sorry for those folks in the UK that are stuck in the mess the Torries created for them, but there is a noticeable difference between the UK experience and the rest of Europe (minus the warehouse move time in the fall here which impacted some order times). ( % -35.04) I managed to slightly correct the wheels to the point where it was at least rideable. ( % -23.33) I discovered that the rear wheel was even worse off than I thought. ( % -40.00) It looks like the rear tire has a massive sling it and it is slinging from side to side, rubbing the break rotor and undoubtedly accelerating the wear and tear on the bike. Happy UK owner - Rhino UK owner: ordered a Rhino in mid-November and it arrived weeks later. ( % 40.00) No problems with UPS delivery. ( % 0.00) Also ordered a high power front light at the same time and that arrived in weeks. ( % 18.67) Took a couple of hours to build up the bike; really easy using the official video. My Radrunner took months to arrive...My Radrunner took months to arrive from despatch whereas all the accessories arrived within the week time frame, the radrunner had mysteriously disappeared from there uk warehouse (which i believe is the root of there problems) and they had to despatch another one,which arrived in two weeks from despatch. ( % 31.67) They supposedly ordered the battery a month ago on March th, one business day after my first contact about this issue; I was then very comprehensive and reassured and I thought the problem was going to be quickly resolved (problems and mistakes happen). ( % 26.11) But as time passes by I have absolutely no visibility on when I will receive the battery and the bike stands on my garage without moving ! ( % -12.50) It is a very heavy bike that was intended for taking my children to school and we cannot use it. ( % -26.00) And I cannot cancel my purchase (the bike is already here), nor return the bike, in order to buy another one with a, probably, more reliable brand. ( % 50.00) Also no single compensation has been proposed to me, knowing that it is a mistake in quality control. Worse customer service/productRad power is for sure one of the WORSE COMPANY where you can buy your electric bike. ( % -10.00) I do not recommend this to anyone. ( % 0.00) This form takes for sure WEEKS to be processed. ( % 50.00) When calling for help they will let you know that they are UNDERSTAFFED. ( % 0.00) Which means that it takes FOREVER for your bike to be fixed. ( % 10.00) As a background story I bought my radrhino plus in November , which I store in my garage at home and at work. ( % 0.00) During this year the bike has stood still in my garage for OVER months. ( % 0.00) . ( % 0.00) Displays are NOT water-proof/resistant. ( % 0.00) What does this mean, after hour of cycling in the rain, which happens a lot here in the Netherlands. ( % -31.25) The display stops working, it does not turn on anymore and therefore you can't ride your HEAVY electric bike. ( % -20.00) This is the second time that this problem occurred this year. ( % 0.00) The first time it took radpower month to send in the display. ( % 25.00) As for the second time they suggested me to bring in the bike to a partner company (Kwikfit) to repair (they informed me that this would be for sure faster). ( % 25.00) Well let me tell you, it does NOT go faster. ( % 0.00) A timeline of the second time that this problem happened to me: th of September: filled a repair request th of October: left the bike at kwikfit after I called them, because I did not receive an update from radpower on the status of the problem. ( % 13.33) Kwikfit put it directly in their system/radpower contacted. ( % 10.00) th of October: contacted kwikfit and they have not received the display yet. ( % 0.00) I am still waiting. ( % 0.00) So again my way of transportation in the Netherlands is cancelled due to the lacking of employee and low quality of the products (specifically displays). Ordered in January, still not shipped...EDIT th July : have recieved my battery! ( % 0.00) Thus rating changed to / to reflect that To preface: I was very happy with my bike, customer service and delivery when I bought it in , and still think that it is a very nice E-bike. ( % 89.00) I also think that the individual customer support employees that I've been in contact with aren't responsible for the negative experience I'm detailing below. ( % -3.33) BUT About weeks ago I ordered a new battery for my RadRhino bike after accidentally having bricked the original one by dropping it on tarmac. ( % 25.57) Without the battery, it is a very heavy bike with not enough gears in the lower range for me to climb steep hills. ( % -13.00) Currently the bulky machine takes up space in my already cluttered hallway gathering dust. ( % 0.00) The order for a new battery went through, Rad Power Bikes took my money, and then nothing happened. ( % 13.64) After weeks, I emailed them, and got the answer that they have technical problems and no time estimate of when I'll get my battery. ( % 0.00) Today after weeks more weeks of radio silence, somewhat irritated, I called support. ( % 50.00) The employee on the other side was very nice, but not exactly helpful and was unable to give any details on my order progress, or any time estimate. ( % 0.75) Her only possible solution was that I cancel my order and make a new one, but was not sure it would help in getting my battery sooner. ( % -2.84) She said that batteries are hazardous objects, that they do have them in storage and that one has been "allocated to my order", but that hazard compliance somehow prevents them from sending me one. ( % 60.00) I'm not sure how canceling an order should help me get my bike to work faster: wouldn't I be placed last in the queue of customers waiting for their delivery? ( % -12.50) The Radpowerbikes EU website still offers new bikes and replacement parts for sale. ( % 11.82) They still accept payments. ( % 0.00) They do have a banner thanking customers for "patience as our fulfillment partner resolves this [shipping disruption] issue." ( % 0.00) If shipping companies ship packages across the EU, how hard can it be to fetch a battery from stock and give it to a shipping company? ( % -29.17) Sure, care has to be taken to not expose it to freezing temperatures in an airplane cargo compartment, probably some safety rules require taking measures to not risk batteries catching fire, but I'm sure there are shippers that do all this. ( % 53.33) And even if there are none, the lack of clear communication with at the very least tentative estimated delivery dates is very frustrating. ( % -27.00) I used to enjoy my Rad bike and trust the quality and customer support but this has unfortunately soured my impression a lot. I've had my RadMini for months and...I've had my RadMini for months and it's still a little hard to settle on a rating. ( % -23.96) Let's start with the positives ) Aesthetics - This bike looks good. ( % 0.00) Too many very negative comments from dissatisfied owners concerning early technical failures and poor performance of Rad Bikes to satisfy warranty claims. After miles, very goodI am an unfit bloke of years of age. ( % 20.00) I have not ridden a bike in earnest since my teens. An American bike in design onlyTook days to arrive. ( % 0.00) Was initially told we'd get an Email telling us a delivery date. ( % 0.00) Nope, it just turned up. ( % 0.00) One of the accessories boxes was missing. ( % -20.00) UPS had it as delivered and insisted initially that it was. ( % 0.00) Rad straight away offered to send out a new one, currently waiting on that. ( % 11.21) The bike itself is as good as it looks in the photos. ( % 70.00) Not my first ebike and has a lot of generic Chinese parts in the build. ( % 8.33) The RR plus in the uk has the cheaper headlight and the throttle is a walk along, same as holding the minus button down. ( % -8.52) The motor is restricted to w and the controller is restricted on settings. ( % 0.00) Although I was able to set the top speed higher. ( % 41.67) Personally I will have to address the lack of torque at some point, as hills n a trailer don't mix well at present. ( % 0.00) Accessories are pretty good. ( % 47.50) Although the advertised has me scratching my head. ( % 0.00) The centre box is great. ( % 80.00) Wish they didnt put the too small cup and phone holder in the lid. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhereIt is true that Radpowerbikes are cheaper than others but you pay a price for that in other terms. ( % 11.25) Our Radwagon has been sitting in the garage for almost month now because the tire ripped (there was no accident or else; and the bike is not even year in use) and Rad is unable to deliver a new one. ( % -18.18) Unfortunately, these tires have a special format, so one is fully dependent on Rad. ( % -7.14) Customer service (EU) has no clue when they will be in stock again. ( % 0.00) Asked whether they can ship one from the US (where they were still in stock), the answer was no "for tax reasons". ( % 0.00) Another issue we had before the ripped tire was that the bike wouldn't switch on despite a full battery. ( % 35.00) We checked all the cables and nothing worked. ( % 0.00) Customer service took ages to respond and wasn't helpful either. ( % 0.00) We tried several bike mechanics in our town but no one was able to fix it because of the non-standard motor (they had equipment only for other models/motors). ( % 9.38) There are no Rad repair shops in Europe (in contrast to the US) and the lesson I took from this is that buying Rad Power Bikes in Europe simply doesn't make any sense due to the lack of infrastructure. ( % -6.25) They are cheaper, yes, but if you have any issue (and we had a couple more I haven't even mentioned), you are screwed. Nice customer service staff, appalling policiesOrdered the RadWagon weeks ago, have now paid three instalments. ( % 12.50) No information received about delays, until I phoned last week, to be told they had no idea when my bike might arrive. ( % 0.00) Had I been informed more quickly I might have been able to organise an alternative, but we've now been without transport for that entire time. ( % 33.33) I suggested that, since there was an alternative colour of the RadWagon in stock in the EU store, perhaps they could just send that to us instead, to be told that they are no longer shipping orders to the UK from the EU website, and that they still had no idea when there might be stock in the UK. ( % 0.00) Given that I ordered my bike from the EU originally, this seems completely unacceptable and related entirely to cost-saving measures for RadPower. ( % 11.88) The staff have been lovely, but this is an unbelievable and close to fraudulent policy from RadPower. ( % 12.50) Whilst they jumped at the chance to simply refund me, we are without transport and cannot afford an alternative. I bought the Rad Runner I bought the Rad Runner Pros Fun Gets noticed because it looks cool Perfect for those of us who can't use a regular bike Cons Heavy This model came with a crappy seat and it doesn't fit a standard UK seat ( I tried my saddle from my old bike) No chain guard, so you can't wear anything you want, don't cramp my style by suggesting ankle clips! ( % 24.69) Mine didn't come with mudguards, everything must be purchased separately, so it's expensive I think Rad Bikes now offer improved seating & mudguards which chafes my buttocks ( I can't say what I really wanna say), this is great for new customers, but annoys those of us who made a purchase prior to these upgrades *sad face*. ( % 2.27) Rad Bikes, there is room for improvement, it took you years to post my review on your site or at least email me to thank me and ask if I could leave a review on trust pilot! Rad mission great bike.The bike I order and got is the single speed Rad Mission. ( % 36.43) Yes there was quite a delay to actually getting the bike but things should have improved by now. ( % 0.00) I live in Derbyshire England which isn't the flatist part of the country. ( % 13.64) I have found the Mission meets my needs perfectly. ( % 100.00) Although single speed wit the power settings available I have no trouble getting around. ( % 14.29) When on the flat you can ride like a norma bike without any power. ( % -2.50) The Mission isn't as heavy as some ebikes and can be easily handled. ( % 11.67) I went on a forty five mile trip with a couple of steep hills and yes I did need full power to climb them but the battery lasted with no problems at all. ( % 35.00) For comutting and social rides I would recommend this bike. ( % 3.33) The bike it's self is well made and well thought out. ( % 0.00) I got two extras mudguards and back rack all well made and fitted perfectly. ( % 50.00) I think although I didn't get one the larger display on the handle bars would be worth it. Great value package with minor setbacksI gladly recommend Rhino to anyone who would like to have a nicely crafted, fun-to-ride fat bike. ( % 46.25) It is well built (for this price level) and rather easy to put together (assembly instructions are great and there is nothing complicated for anyone who can do essential bike maintenance). ( % 18.33) I find it comfy even with a stock seat (frequent complaints from many users), as long as you adjust tire pressure (which is a kind of idea with fat tires). ( % 28.75) Front and back lights are only good for day rides, but buying a good set of rechargeable lights is not a big investment. ( % 28.00) The general feeling about riding it is really great. ( % 42.50) The only minus in terms of the ride experience is the steep hills. ( % -5.00) This is an extremely heavy bike and even with level support and hard push do not expect to go faster than km/h. ( % -24.58) That means a lot of electric scooters will zoom by you on the uphills. ( % 0.00) It's a shame that the engine doesn't give more support on the uphill. ( % 50.00) I don't have an issue with a general limit of km/h for EU, just a power that it gives uphill up to that speed limit. ( % 5.00) RAD, you could have done that better. ( % 50.00) especially since most of the other producers do not really stick to the W limit but only to the km/ cut-off. ( % 5.50) And for the end, examples of great customer service: ) I managed to brake a clamp on the remote (controls for turning the bike on, etc.) ( % 40.00) by over-tightening it (yes it is very gentle). ( % 26.00) They sent me a replacement free of charge. ) ( % 40.00) I bought a bike at an autumn sales price (,EUR if I recall exactly). ( % 25.00) Three weeks later RAD started Black Friday with a crazy discount prize (,EUR) and they sent me an email about not wanting me to feel left out of that opportunity and returned me the price difference of EUR. Decent product, BUT bad supply chain and serviceOn Jan, I bought a Rad Mission eBike - I am based in the UK. ( % -26.67) The product arrived in weeks. ( % 30.00) First question, if the bike is in stock in the UK, which it was, why is it weeks for delivery? ( % 25.00) I also ordered fenders and a kick-stand. ( % 0.00) There is no sign of these so far (after weeks) and repeated re-quoting of the - week delivery times on the Rad website is getting a little boring. ( % -36.25) I am perfectly capable of reading the online blurb - what I am looking for is to make a judgement on whether or not the items are actually coming or not, which looking at other reviews it may not be! ( % 1.46) I also want to add that a fuse cover was missing from the underside of the battery when it arrived. ( % -20.00) I have been promised a new one and been told to cover the hole with masking tape in the meantime! ( % 17.05) I guess this will also take - weeks to show up. Fantastic bike but customer support is too slow to replyThe bike is fantastic. Very poor customer supportAfter going back and forth between a 'bakfiets' and a longtail bike, we decided, after some testriding and research, to go for the Radbike Radwagon. Very happy with the bikeI have read some of the other reviews and sorry to read some of their issues, mine however has been fantastic, right from ordering the bike to the delivery, I had a R R before getting this R R +, super easy to put together. ( % 26.11) I had an issue with a charger and a light that didn't work, I contacted them and even though I couldn't upload pic or video , they did the decent thing and have sent me replacements, Sander was fantastic through the process and replied to all my mails in a timely fashion, ok so Rad are leaving Europe so you pay your money and take a chance , for an RR + for euro that was euro then euro is a no brainer, the service centre here in Ireland in Dublin are very good by all accounts so I'm not worried at all. Might be the best thing I've ever bought!When I first bought my bike there were some serious shipping delays but these seemed to have resolved, with the accessories and extra parts I've been ordering lately arriving in good time. Timely deliveryI don't usually post when I'm happy about a product but I must admit that reading all the wrongs about Rad Power Bikes delivery nearly kept me from buying from their EU website. Great bikeAfter lots of hesitation I finally decided to buy the RadRhino plus. ( % 40.00) It arrived quickly and was well packaged. ( % 33.33) It's was very easy to set up and the instructions were very clear. ( % 34.67) The bike is very stable and steers quite good and the brakes work very well, the gears switch very smoothly but by mine the th gear is a little bit edgy and feels like it wants to keep jumping out of gear, maybe it still needs some fine tuning, but haven't managed to get it right yet after a few adjustments. ( % 18.35) The EU version is w but I find it to have enough power and use it mainly in the rd power setting, switching up to of when needed during an incline or headwinds. ( % 8.33) All in all a great bike and would strongly recommend it if not being the case that Rad have decided to stop operating in the EU, which was very disappointing to hear after just spending my hard earned money on a bike and still don't know what this means for me in the future if I for example want to buy a second battery for it?Date of experience: July , ( % 2.69)

A great bike exactly suited to my local ridesAfter much research I decided on the RhinoPlus and really pleased that I did. ( % 35.00) It is excellently suited for the mixed roads and forest trails that we have locally and a joy to ride. ( % 19.19) I was clad that I got the step through as its easy to get on and off as the bike is quite heavy but you don't notice this when riding. I was really enjoying my rad wagon and...I was really enjoying my rad wagon and feeling impressed with a bargain purchase. ( % 66.67) However, after care is really what it is all about right. ( % 24.29) After just months I had problems with the power and was told that they needed recordings of the problem including power cutting out while I go along. ( % -60.00) This did not seem safe, sensible and seemed to put the responsibility on me to be part of the diagnostics. ( % 50.00) I asked if I could take it to a bike shop linked to them and they said any diagnostics and labour even if the issue was under warranty would not be paid for. ( % 0.00) Therefore I was left to facilitate the diagnostics, remotely and with a lag as it was via email. ( % -5.00) In addition, and most shocking waa when I was told the issue was with the LCD display having got wet inside and that this was not covered by warranty! ( % -20.83) Imagine an integral part of the bike not covered for getting wet, on a bike for outdoor use! ( % -12.50) I imagine this is because the item is known to be faulty as it is cheap and the company can't afford to keep replacing. ( % 40.00) They sent me an invoice for the item which was over EUR, yet in parallel another operative told me to dry it out with rice, stating if I didn't then any persisting faults would be my fault! ( % -4.17) Interestingly the invoice was also for a display that was out of stock! ( % 62.50) Poor service all round. ( % -30.00) I now have to find money for an item that should be covered and will likely get wet again and get faulty. ( % -5.00) I also don't even know if this is the real issue perhaps problems are more pervasive! ( % 41.25) The items will take working days to come which means walking my and year old to their two different schools now and with the little one now being late ecah morning (the area I live you can only walk or use cycles in stoke Newington). ( % -4.19) I won't tell you about the stand either, needless to say, clunky, heavy and rattled until the main bolt sheeres off all by itself, very dangerous! ( % -37.71) I won't recommend this bike to anyone now around my area, everyone asks about it, although I guess the company is moving to the states, I wonder why?! Radpower betrayed its european customersI used to love my Radrunner plus, but less than one year using it the battery stopped charging. ( % 11.11) That in itself might be a coincidence (but it might also be due to poor quality), however my biggest problem is the fact that after two whole months since my first email the customer service has been unable to provide a solution, while requesting quite a lot of labor from me documenting the issue. ( % 18.75) The 'Brexit' delivery delay was - weeks when I ordered on March but subsequently changed on their site to - week. ( % 0.00) After weeks I got notification that my order had left Utrecht and today I have been told (after much complaining) that it is in UK but they have no idea when it will be delivered. ( % 10.00) The previous reviewer was hoping to get notification from UPS but I was told that they have not yet started using that carrier. ( % -16.67) From social media I can see people waiting weeks from the time their bikes arrive in UK, only to have them dumped at their address with no notice. Disappointing experienceDisappointing experience with Rad Power bikes so far. ( % -25.00) Its a shame as I read lots of good reviews about the company and the bikes prior to ordering my Rad Runner, and now weeks after ordering I still have no bike and no idea when its getting here even though they have said that all orders have finalised last week at the warehouse, so where the heck is it then? ( % 23.33) How long does it take to ship an item to an address within the UK if its been here for the past weeks, its ridiculous, especially when Rad are charging PS for shipping. ( % -15.83) I understand that Brexit has been a problem but the bikes were meant to have been with UK customers within - weeks, they've provided no tracking and at one point admitted they had no idea if the shipment was even in the UK and couldn't track it themselves or wouldn't let customers know if they were. ( % 0.00) I'm hoping that when I finally get the thing that there are no issues with it as any parts replaced under warranty could take months to receive if the same issues persist! Very very bad customer service... takes you for idiotI bought a Radpoower Wagon. ( % -91.00) One of the reasons (not the only one) that made me choose it was the very clear message on their website stating that items in stock ship within days... That was a joke!!! Possibly the worst product and service in my lifeTo really sum up how bad Rad Power Bikes are is very difficult. ( % 25.00) Rad Power Bikes seemed to have some good YouTube reviews and overall the product looked well built enough for its PS price. ( % 23.33) What can go wrong? ( % -50.00) Right? ( % 28.57) Haha. ( % 20.00) I tell you. ( % 0.00) Everything can and will go wrong if you purchase and end up using this bike properly. ( % -25.00) I mean at least a few days a week and not just letting it park in your garage and occasionally imitate a super when your girlfriend is over. ( % -9.58) I had the chance to buy the Rad Runner and use it in Scotland as a courier bike. ( % 0.00) That means - mi/day and listen this bike started to fail after just a few days of usage. ( % -35.00) The display cannot stand any moisture (not rain), the cables will disconnect if you hit bumps or potholes (sometimes on a minute by minute basis), the chain as it is will give up once you have used it for a few weeks in a row, the brake pads were not meant to hold such a heavy bike so I had to change them every second week. ( % -10.00) Only if I could, as the screws and the pads started to rot together with the body and the disc. ( % 0.00) This resulted in me buying a completely new brake system, a second-hand display that I have DIY waterproofed with tape, lol, new chain - no brainer. ( % 35.76) Slowly but surely the worst happened. ( % -26.67) As the weather gets colder (and DO NOT BELIEVE their website when it comes to the temperatures) the battery and its components will start to leak and discharge. ( % 0.00) This melted my battery together with its dock. ( % 0.00) Once that is done only a crowbar and a third-party mechanic were able to review the bike with off-market components. ( % 25.00) Once I have contacted RadPowerBikes they have promised to send me a new battery and a dock. ( % 13.64) Well, as it is today that was nearly months ago. ( % 10.00) Hahaha Just for the record their puncture-proof Kenda (specially produced for this model blah), tire had seen about punctures. ( % 27.86) Since it's a unique sized tire, changing it is impossible without getting in touch with them and buying it from their warehouse. ( % -14.58) If that place even exists. ( % 0.00) Buy a real bike instead and save time and money by spending just a fraction more. ( % 35.00) This electric bike should never be used in wet weather of any kind. ( % 25.00) Snow, mud, dirt, or rain is out of the question. ( % 0.00) The basic model that comes without mudguards should not be sold as without mudguards these bikes will break on you within weeks. Heavy machine - try before buyRD mini Bike took / weeks to arrive - UK customs and shortage of truck drivers?? ( % -20.00) It is heavy at kg - I had missed that in the pre sale description, and this will be a challenge lifting a folded bike onto a train. ( % -20.00) Assembly took about an hour. ( % 0.00) Wing mirror only fits left hand handlebar, which is specially reduced in diameter to take it. Poor customer service - don't expect to get replacement partsWe are very disappointed with the customer service. ( % -68.75) We used our Rad Wagon for about two months and then a defective tyre blew out on the school run with our two small boys on the back (the tyre ruptured on the sidewall). RAD RHINO i ordered a rad rhino bike and was initially pretty happy with it, the battery seemed to last a bit less than advertised and there were a few things needed tweaking as im not very experienced with bikes, not much of a problem, though a week or so after i received it they had the same bike on their website for PS less, which was irritating and after another week one of the gear cogs had sheered some of the teeth off in gear leaving me unable to use it, i contacted the customer services and they said that under the warranty they could send me out a replacement but unfortunately we're out of stock in the uk and couldn't tell me when it would be in, and unfortunately i'm miles from one of their service centres, so now i must get a replacement and have it fitted at my own expense, not very helpful to be honest and to make it worse after work today went to retrieve my bike after riding in the rain this morning and it appears my battery has drained from bars down to emptyDate of experience: November , ( % -6.93)

A bad start, but a good finish.Received my bike today, was really excited till I saw the damage to the packaging. ( % 12.50) Once the bike was removed from the packaging I could see some damage to the rear of the bike. ( % 0.00) On attempting to put the bike together I found the rear forks to be twisted so it is impossible to line the rear wheel up, it is pushed up against one of the forks. Radically Underwhelming) Upon reception of the bike, we realized that it is *not* meant for riders under a certain height. ( % 21.43) This needed to be specified on the website but was not ! Quite simply the worst customer service...Quite simply the worst customer service ever experienced. ( % -24.00) EURk paid in full upfront for a bike and accessories. I bought RadRhino bikes a few weeks...I bought RadRhino bikes a few weeks ago and the UI Display in one of them has failed. ( % -30.00) I emailed them over a week ago and am yet to get a response! ( % 0.00) To add insult they then emailed me yesterday to announce the opening of the UK site with an offer of PS off each bike! ( % 0.00) I now have a non-functioning full price bike and had I waited a couple of weeks could've saved PS!!!! Forget about Customer Service from RAD netherlands.The bike is amazing. ( % 60.00) The customer support is a disaster. ( % 0.00) I got the bike and after less than one month of use it had issues and stoped working. ( % -16.67) After some back and forth I took to the certified service. ( % 0.00) Bike was fixed after weeks of wait. ( % 10.00) Once I got the bike, weeks later it stopped working. ( % 0.00) Service again ans weeks. The bike arrived well packed but several issuesThe bike arrived well packed, all assembled no problem! ( % 0.00) Upon ordering you can order optional extras, of which mud guards (fenders) was one, I ordered these as they were an optional extra only to find them on the bike already when it arrived, I didn't need to order the mud guards at all ! ( % 0.00) Also the bike has a gearing fault so I'm going to have to take a brand new bike to the cycle shop to get it adjusted as the chain constantly slips and is very difficult to ride because of it. Great bikeGreat bike, star as the bike needed some basic adjustments by a mechanic after assembly, they use UPS as their courier which I find are pretty consistently awful (packages will arrive damaged, at wrong address etc).
